Meet the team
Patryk Gruba
Founder | Principal Ecologist
Patryk has over 15 years of professional experience and he previously worked as a senior consultant ecologist for a number of different organisations gaining a wealth of experience working across a wide range of projects and sectors throughout the UK. Patryk is a full member of CIEEM and holds survey licences for bats, great crested newt (England and Scotland) and barn owl.
When he is not working hard for our clients or volunteering for the local conservation groups and charities, you are most likely to find him running with his dog Flynn in the Lakeland fells.
Cathy Gruba
Ecologist | Environmental Education Practitioner
Cathy has valuable experience working as an ecological clerk of works (ECOW) on Special Areas of Conservation (SAC) and Sites of Special Scientific Interest (SSSI). She holds a survey licence for bats. Cathy is passionate about education and engagement and has over 15 years’ experience creating, managing and delivering outdoor learning programmes for a range of organisations. She is a qualified Level Three Forest School Leader.
When she’s not working, you will find her in her wellies on the saltmarshes of the Solway Firth.
